The toll road, a segment of SH18, stretches from Bhopal to the Dewas Bypass junction, covering a length of approximately 140.79 km, and enables connectivity between state capital Bhopal and Indore, Pithampur, Dewas and Ujjain.

Short-Distance Traffic

Passenger vehicles travelling primarily between Indore and Bhopal for work and business purposes.

Medium-Distance Traffic

Serves commercial purposes as the corridor links production and consumption hubs. Medium-range routes connect Indore, Pithampur and Dewas with Vidisha, Raisen, Sagar and Jabalpur.

Long-Distance Traffic

Longer routes link Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Kandla and Mumbai to Bhopal, Lucknow, and other centres, facilitating the transport of building materials, oil and gas, automobile parts, consumer items, and iron pipes for the Kandla-Gorakhpur pipeline project.
